I practice counseling from the perspective that the answers we seek exist within us, that our work involves turning inward, unpacking our backpack, and arriving at knowing ourselves.

This type of introspective work can only be done in a psychologically safe environment. In my work with clients, I hold a nonjudgmental space and bear witness as my clients self-reflect on their experiences, and process emotions linked to trauma, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, women’s issues, and other complex unfinished business.

I am grateful for every client who affords me the opportunity to journey with them. While I may be the therapist trained in counseling theory and practice, I don’t believe I am the expert on the lives of my clients.

At my practice, I work with persons 18+ only. I do not offer couples counseling. I do not take on clients actively experiencing crisis as I am unable to provide the required level of care.

My office is handicapped accessible. I am available five days a week and offer morning, midday, and evening appointments. Before beginning therapy, I offer everyone a complimentary, 30-minute phone consultation to assess whether we would be a good fit.
